FAQ's

How many people can join my family group?

The limit is 60 people per subscription. So for the fixed monthly subscription fee, up to 60 family members can join the family group and post messages.

What are the differences between subscription types? Which one do you recommend?

Subscriptions are based on how often you wish to send a printed gazette (in which you can publish up to 30 messages) to your older loved one.

  • For £5.99 a month, a gazette will be published and posted every 4 weeks
  • For £9.99 a month a gazette will be published and posted every 2 weeks
  • For £17.99 a month, a gazette will be printed and posted every week

The plan with a gazette posted every 4 weeks (at £5.99 a month) is the most popular and perfect if there are less than 10 of you wishing to send messages If you are a large family all looking to regularly post pictures, a gazette every 2 weeks or even every week will be the best option.

What payment method are available? Can we split payment between us?

When you subscribe, you will be asked to register your card details* and this will be considered the default payment method. The monthly fee will be debited from this card on the 1st of each month.
Famileo has created a 'family kitty' system for users who would like share the cost between family members. It allows anyone registered to the family account to credit the account. To do this, go to your Famileo account from your laptop or PC and click on the "Kitty" tab. The family account manager's bank card will only be debited in the months when the balance in the kitty is insufficient to pay the next month’s subscription.

*Payments processing are carried out by the platforms Dalenys and Checkout, partners of Visa and Mastercard. Information relating to your bank details is under no circumstance kept without your consent.

Can I post the family newspaper to more than one loved one?

Yes! And our 'message duplication' feature makes it very easy to send the same message to several loved ones. You can add and manage multiple subscriptions with the same email address. To do this, go to www.famileo.com from a computer and log in to your account. Then click on "Take another subscription" in the menu on the left, and follow the subscription steps. A new family code will be generated and your family members will be able to join the new network by clicking on "Join a family".

Famileo

The idea for Famileo came from Tanguy de Gelis's desire to connect his grandmother, Elisabeth, with his family. Recognising that the joy of receiving postcards couldn't be replaced by digital communication, he was inspired to create a family newspaper that combined the warmth of paper with the convenience of the digital age. Since the release of the first gazette in France in 2015, Famileo has grown into a dynamic team dedicated to bridging generations and strengthening familial ties.
